The Ein el-Jarba Excavation Project is backed by the Institute of Archaeology of the Hebrew Jerusalem of Jerusalem in close cooperation with the Jezreel Valley Regional Project and the German Protestant Institute of Archaeology in Jerusalem. The project is predominantly funded by the Fritz Thyssen Stiftung.
